I have for sale this set of 18” wheels that originally came on my 2021 Toyota Avalon Limited with a set of little used Continental Pure Contact tires. In my opinion Toyota made a big mistake putting 18” wheels on the Limited trim of the Avalon because their ride is too stiff for this top-of-the-line luxury trim. These 18” wheels are for sportier drivers and trims; not for older folk (like me) who want comfort. That is why I decided to downsize to 17” wheels and put more rubber (cushion) between the wheels and the road. So, if you are the sportier type with a 2019 – 2023 Avalon or a 2018 – 2024 Camry (perhaps others too), these would be perfect for you.
These are genuine Toyota OE 18” wheels, 8” wide, have a 5 x 114.3mm bolt pattern, 40mm offset, and 60.1mm center bore. New, these wheels have an MSRP of $582, online sale price of just over $400, and can be found refurbished for around $240 . . . each. My wheels are in very good condition except for one wheel having about a 3” curb rash (see photo of the 4th wheel) which could be repaired for approximately $140 or just lived with as is.
The tires are Continental True Contact LS, a good touring tire that also behaves pretty well in the snow for an all-season tire. No cuts, though one tire does have a plug from a nail that was repaired by Discount Tire (see photo of 3rd wheel). These tires were manufactured in the 39th and 40th weeks of 2023, and started life with 10/32” tread; all are now between 8/32” and 9/32” tread remaining, and are low rolling resistance construction.
Each wheel/tire set is mounted, balanced, and comes with the Toyota TPMS sensors that came on my 2021 car and I do have a programming tool to sync these to your Toyota. Center caps and lug nuts are not included. Photos are arranged with all the pics for one wheel/tire before proceeding to the next one.
I will not break the set of 4 (all or nothing), and they are for local pickup only (no shipping).
I am asking $525 for the set; a bargain.
