I have a very lightly used Winston 8'9" 5-Wt 5-piece LT fly-rod that is in excellent condition. It is the classic Winston green, all guides are in excellent condition, and the ferrules are like new. This rod has less than 6 total hours on the water.
Being a 5-piece, the rod breaks down into a very convenient tube: just under 2' long. That being the case, this is a great travel rod (you can easily store it in the overhead compartment on planes), it is ultra-light and is a great rod for backpacking into remote water for more privacy - and bigger fish!
The rod is all original equipment: all 5 pieces have the same serial number #97837, the sock is clean and in excellent condition, and the cap and tube (except for two slight dings shown) are too. The grip is the classic cork cigar design and the rod has a beautiful zebra reel-seat. Note the cork is not the cheap bleached-white cork that is so common on new rods.
Info on the cap is a bit hard to read, so here it is:

This rod was originally $875, asking $465 OBO.
This rod would make an outstanding Christmas gift for some lucky angler.
