A Sales Representative is responsible for proactively selling new and profitable waste, recycling, and disposal services to prospective customers within the Cleveland and Chattanooga market area. While meeting monthly revenue goals, a sales representative will regularly identify leads, meet with prospective new clients, follow up with decision makers, and resolve escalated customer issues.

Our Sales Representative will generate success through an understanding of the local market, local codes, and the industry’s “Green Initiatives”. The Candidate must have keen knowledge of the local regulatory constraints and ensure compliance.


-Meet monthly revenue goals as agreed on by sales person and management
-Contact and conduct site visits with potential customers in your assigned market area on a daily basis
-Generate scope of work for each site’s disposal of material
-Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work -
schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
-Make appropriate sales presentations to prospects using approved proposals and proposal brochures
-Resolve escalated customer issues
-Quote services at approved rates
-Enter new contacts, sales activities and account updates
-Compile a monthly sales report
-Attend weekly staff meetings
-Prepare and submit required documentation
-Facilitate company’s booths at fairs, conferences, etc.
-Other duties as assigned


-Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products – i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
-Must exhibit professional telephone and personal presence
-Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
-Must be detail-oriented, demonstrate a strong work ethic and be willing to adapt to change
-Must have reliable transportation to travel to customer or prospect sites;
-Demonstrated ability to think analytically and problem solve
-Must be able to work well with our existing team
-Valid driver’s license
-Good driving record
-College degree

Commission Plan for Roll-Off/Hauling Sales Rep:

-Weekly Base Pay plus sales commission to be discussed at interview
-Base Pay can be effected by rolloff sales experience
-Car allowance
