Capone is our newest foster at Volunteer K-9. We are unsure of his breed(s), but our best guess is an American Bully mix!
Capone is a young(approx. 1 1/2-years-old), neutered male looking for his FOREVER home! He absolutely adores people and has never met a stranger!
Capone can be dog selective, which means there are certain dogs he does get along with and certain dogs he does not get along with. i haven’t seen any outright dog aggression from him, but I’d prefer to see him go to a home with only one or two other dogs who can match his play style! He is young and rambunctious and needs a playmate who can keep up with him!
Capone is good with cats and doesn’t seem overly prey driven.
He is also crate-trained as well as house-trained! He has marked in my house once, but with consistent structure and training, I do not believe at all that it will be a reoccurring issue.
Capone will be available for adoption on 11/15! He is still completing his training with me, so that he can be an easy companion!
-Walk nicely on a leash without pulling!
-Not jump on people
-Wait to be released before going in/out doorways
-Know the commands “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “place”, and “heel”
And in general, be an all-around well mannered dog!
His re-homing fee will be $350. This allows Volunteer K-9 to continue bringing in unwanted dogs, completing all necessary medical vetting, work with them with rigorous training to ensure all behavioral issues are worked through, and then adopting them out to their FOREVER homes!
