Hallet & Davis was one of Boston’s most celebrated manufacturers. Instruments by Hallet & Davis are known to consistently be of superior quality and craftsmanship. Because of their quality and craftsmanship, pianos were built under the Hallet & Davis brand label for over 150 years.
This lovely instrument is a large late model Hallet & Davis square grand piano built in 1851. I have been told this Piano was purchased new by Tanya Tuckers Father BO and sold it to my friends Mother. The piano is made of beautiful Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Rococo Victorian style. Note the beautifully carved legs and moldings. This piano boasts a full 88-note keyboard which indicates this was a “top of the line” instrument in its day.
