I believe this is a C5-a model in transparent ivory made in Japan sometime in the late 90s to very early 2000s. This bass is extremely clean. No dents, dings, or finish scratches. The neck on this thing is near perfect in my opinion. It has a 3 band amp with a mid-frequency switch (aka the "slap switch"). The pickups can produce a wide range of sounds. I have used this mainly at church since acquiring it. It is currently strung with a set of fairly new LaBella flats. It can be strung thru body or thru bridge. There are Dunlop locking strap buttons on this bass. The string spacing is on the wider side for a 5-string (which I prefer). There really is absolutely nothing wrong with this bass. I just find myself grabbing other basses more often than this one. Trying to downsize the gear collection.

Comes with a gator hard case and a set of LaBella thru body flats.
