I have a registered Dun Quarter Horse mare. I raised this mare from a colt and have owned her her entire life. She has done all kinds of ranch work. You can rope cattle off her. She will drag cattle. You can carry a calf on her. She is about 15 or 15-1 hands. She is sound. She is not spooky. She is broke. She is in good shape and low maintenance. We have road this mare in a lot of different places and different activities. We have hauled her to Arkansas two times for Chuckwagon races. We have hauled her to Missouri and Loretta Lynn’s for the Chuckwagon races. Lots of excitement, noise, wrecks, and not a bit of problem out of her. Rode some ranches out west with her. Have rode her in the Smoky Mountains NP, Cumberland Gap NP, Panther Creek and several other places. She has been around bicycle and hogs. In case you didn’t know a lot of horses are scared of those. She is a good lead horse or follows on a trail great also. She will cross water, bridges, ditches etc. She will load, stand tied, not hateful, not dangerous. She is traffic safe. I had some non-experienced riders. Only reason for selling I have two many horses and a bunch of younger horses that need to be road. And all my crew is more experienced now and can handle a horse not broke as good her. Just about anyone can ride this mare. Just some pictures I pulled off the phone in different places. I have raised three colts off this mare in the pictures is her Two year old and yearling and weanling colt. She has always foaled a Dun colored colt. I have two filly colts and a horse I am keeping out of this mare. She is ready to breed back if that is something you choose to do. We would usually ride the mare in the Summer and foal her out in early winter.
