The Sycamore Maple, Acer pseudoplatanus, becomes a large shade tree, with distinctive flaky bark, and a classic 5-lobed leathery leaf. It produces fragrant yellow flowers in the spring and the leaves turn a muted yellow in the fall. These seedlings measure 16” tall (3 0f them) and one is 8” tall. All very healthy and could be transplanted to a larger pot at any time. Of course, eventually you’d want to plant outside in your garden or yard.
