Our chicken tractor that we have used in our yard. We would move it all over our yard allowing chickens to be on fresh ground. Up in the top there is a roost and a nest box that can be accessed by lifting the roof of the nesting box. Chickens have the capability to come down into the grass where we would also have their feed and water. Many times we would open the door for the chickens to roam around the yard and they would go back to the chicken tractor as they desired. In the 3 years that we used this, we did not have any issues with predation. We have a different setup now and no longer use this. It has been in the barn for approximately 1 year.
