There is a separate category for pets/animals but these scammers put them in the general or farm category. They want a deposit for a non existent pet. You txt back and forth and you send them money and then you are ghosted with your money gone. Or they will tell you come and get the pet, then they will txt you back while you’re on your way to a false address and say “my spouse has someone else coming to get it but I will hold it for you if you PayPal me a quick deposit” same thing… money lost! Or it’s your typical pup farm trying to get money for animals that have false papers and are sickly and too young to show symptoms… and you spend a fortune on them.
Go to your local pet shelter and adopt a real animal from people that care about the animal. You will actually get a loving pet and not be dealing with scammers.
