condition: fair
Title: Two Thousand (2000) Years Ago - The Adventures of a Roman Boy.
Author: Rev A. J. Church.
Publisher: A. L. Burt Company Publishers, New York.
Year Published: Somewhere around the turn of the Century (I am guessing about 1910-1920?).
Book measures: 7.5" tall x 5.25" wide x 1" thick.
Book has 382 pages.
This antique book is very hard to find.
CONDITION: Book is definitely showing it's age at about 100 years? Has some light page tanning. Spine has damage but pages are still good. There is a separation inside the front and back covers as shown in pictures. No loose pages. From smoke free environment. PLEASE see all pictures (10 of them).
About this book: We believe this book is a turn-of-century to early 2000’s rendering. The title page is not dated. The earliest record of the publishing of this book was 1885 but this seems to be a later copy. Blackie and Son Publishers did a rendition in 1904 and again in 1912. I am guessing this one was somewhere thereafter.

Rev. Church was a professor of Latin at University College of London.

Frontispiece shows “The Fight with the Wild Boar”, an outstanding Illustration by Adrian Marie.

This Book tells more history of earlier Centuries cultures than anything we can see today on Social Media. It is a very hard book to find in it’s antiquity.

ABOUT SHIPPING: Because this book is an antique we have chose to ship via Priority Mail as it is insured, comes faster, and handled better than Media Rates, and First Class Rates.
