Original 1940's Black Americana Pie Bird/Baking Vent Collection. Featuring Chef Pie-Aire, a country kitchen baking tool. Three pie chefs, (one each) Blue Clothes, Yellow Clothes and Green Clothes. Notice the oval spoon, this verifies its authenticity. These pie vents were originally used when baking a meat pie. The vent was placed in the center of the bottom crust, filled with filling or meat, then the vent head would poke through the top crust. This allowed the bottom crust to cook evenly. Very good condition, light normal crazing. Small bubble pop on bottom back side of green chef. See photos.
