This beautiful Pink Sharon Depression Glass Dinnerware set provides 8 place (7 piece) settings and has a total of 86 individual pieces (counting lids). It was made by Federal Glass Company from only 1935 to 1939 and was primarily acquired by people through promotional giveaways during the Great Depression. The Sharon pattern was also known as Cabbage Rose. Except for the salt shaker lid which has some salt corrosion (see pictures), this set is in Excellent Condition, with very few utensil marks overall. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on any glass piece. The glass color is a vivid pink without cloudiness, so you can see it was not used very often. I have owned this set since 1981 and have used it only maybe a dozen times while entertaining special guests.
