MARCREST Pattern MCR2 aka Daisy Dot Pattern (6) COFFEE CUPS.
This pattern was produced during the 1950's to 1960's. Exact dates unknown but we do know the time-frame.

The 3 1/4" flat cup books much higher than the larger cup as it is more scarce. Here we have 6 of them!!
The current market value of this smaller cup is $45 each. That makes the market value of these 6 cups a whopping $270!! (while the current value of the larger cup is ONLY $7. Remember when researching this cup to not confuse it with the bigger, much more common cup.)

The smaller cup is very distinguishable as it has 2 scalloped lines going around the cup instead of one.
There were 3 variations in coffee cups, known as 1-finger, 2-finger, 3-finger.
Ours is the 2-finger. Our cups are the smaller, more expensive, hard-to-find size.

CHARACTERISTICS: Older pottery, when glazed, may have an area where the glaze didn't "meet" during firing.
This is not considered damage. It is characteristic of the older firing methods, while the item was in the kiln.
A shard is a small piece of pottery that gets stuck to an item during firing. This was also characteristic of older firing methods, while the item was in the kiln.

Each Cup measures: 3 1/4" tall x 5" wide across at the handle x 3.75" in diameter around the top rim.
Condition: Virtually like new. No chips and no cracks to any of the cups.

HONORABLE MENTION: There is one cup that has a shard from production and one cup has a tiny spot where the glaze didn't meet, as seen in last 2 pictures. These are both characteristic of older firing/kiln methods and are not considered damage.
Comes from Smoke Free Home.
