Copilot/Navigator needed for a road trip to bag a couple Midwest high-points. The goal is to hike to the high points of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. I hope to leave Tuesday evening, February 14th and return to Knoxville by Sunday night, February 19th. These high points are in the 5,000 ft elevation range, with some hiking. I have never been in this part of the country, and it would be great to have someone to share the ride. Male or Female welcome.
I will be taking my Sienna van with the middle-row seats removed. I throw a futon mattress in the back for relaxation. Overnights will be in B&Bs or hotels. I don't intend to camp or sleep all night in the van.
You should be able to:
- Pacify yourself for long periods while we drive. I listen to books on CD.
- have a current driver's license to share driving
- non smoker
- pay for separate hotel room and meals
- be in fair physical shape to do short hikes in February temps
- no pets
