For Sale: Full-sized Arcade game "Steel Talons" Helicopter Simulator (Sevierville, TN 37862) $1300

I have a refurbished "Steel Talons" arcade video game I'd like to sell. It seats two people; each player can play independently play against the computer; or- they can play against each other; or- they can play as a team. I purchased the game from a video game company, which had completely refurbished the entire unit.
The arcade game has four coin-slots (I have only two of the four coin mechanisms, but they are easy to find and install), and can function as a money-making arcade game. I purchased the game back in 2000, primarily for my kids to play, and I've installed two 'credit buttons' (semi-permenantly with hotglue)(can be easily removed with no damage). Additionally, my technician made some fantastic modifications. There are I.C. chips on the circuit boards which contain tiny batteries to maintain the memory. These batteries are embedded within the chips, so when the batteries finally die, you'd normally have to locate new chips. My tech ground-down the chips, removed the old batteries, and installed the button-type batter holders and the batteries. So now, if a battery finally runs down, you can very easily change just the battery.

"Steel Talons" is a helicopter simulator game, and has a "real heli flight" mode, which is much closer to the response of a real helicopter. You can actually fly loops, and all sorts of precision flying. During the game, enemy target are firing at you. When you are hit, you get a jolt in the form of the "rump-thump" in the seat... which really adds to the realism. Each side has identical controls: rudder pedals, cyclic control, joystick with machinegun and hellfire missles; stereo sound; 25" color monitor; coin slots/returns; and set-up and calibration menus; free, cost per credit settings (plus much more). This is a large, 'indrustrial' arcade game made by Atari. It is in very good condition, and when last played, everything worked just fine. It's been sitting in my enclosed garage for several years, and I'd like to reclaim the space.

Collectors tell me that this game is very, VERY hard to find. You won't find this one as a 'remake' like Pac Man or others. Price is going to be the best offer... but I do have $3,600 invested in it. I'll sell it for less... but not for a few hundred dollars. I'll seel it for $1,300 CASH (no checks, no money orders, no CC). This game is large, and very heavy. It breaks-down into two cabinets, one of which is on casters, the other is not. The game was delivered on a bob-truck with a lift-gate... and I'm quite sure that is what will be require to move it. Buyer is to handle all aspects of having the game moved in a timely manner, and the sale is final.
