A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related technical field is required. Also, candidates need to be able to obtain a security clearance.
Reporting and Scheduling Structure:
The field engineer will be scheduled by the director of Field operations with cooperation from the Project management staff. The scheduling information will be placed on the Field Team (Nashville Installation Calendar) install calendar. The scheduling will occur weekly during the project managers meeting. Once assigned to the calendar the field engineer will report directly to the project manager who is assigned to the project. The project manager will have prepared the as-build prints that were used by the installation crew as well as all other pertinent documents needed to properly verify a system for technical performance as well as scope performance.
Communication Responsibilities:
The field engineer will be required to e-mail a daily progress report to the Project Manager, Design Engineer and Account Executive. These e-mail updates will include a brief synopsis of issues and resolutions occurring during final testing. Any action items requiring the involvement of the above stated persons will also be requested in the e-mail.
A system test sheet will also be provided to the Field engineer. This will provide consistent documentation and expectation of all final testing.
Training responsibilities:
The field Engineer will assist in on-site field training. This training is focused on providing the Installation team with constructive feedback on technical performance while providing the team a chance to be come involved in the resolution of these issues.
The field engineer will work with the director of field operations in facilitating a quarterly in-service one day training event for all field personnel. An outline for the 1 day 8 hour event will be required.

Requirements:
