There's a HUGE hunk of a sycamore tree trunk sitting by the road just waiting for an artist to save it from the chipper-shredder! It used to be one of the prettiest trees in Fountain City until some idiot landlord thought it wasn't right for his precious (and now ugly) yard. It's just north of the Ftn City branch library on Stanton north of Essary. This hunk of tree is about 4-5 feet tall and also in diameter. It's been there awhile, so I think it's too big for the city to pick up.
Someone please use it for a table, butcherblock... anything! Peace!
